Sony has announced two new SD Handycam camcorders from Sony - the DCR-SX22 and the innovative DCR-PJ6, with the latter featuring a built-in projector.
The "shoot-n-show" ability of the compact DCR-PJ6 allows users to seamlessly and instantly share their latest adventures with their friends and family, be it in the backyard, at a party, or even on the ceiling in a bedroom. It enables projection of images as large as 60 inches diagonally in dark surroundings, and allows for easy projection of content from other compatible devices such as PlayStation, Walkman, home theater systems, portable DVDs, cell phones, and tablets from Sony via its "Projector Input" feature.
Both the Handycam camcorders offer a Sony 60x optical zoom lens, further magnified with the new 70x extended zoom feature, making that far-to-reach object all the more closer. Unlike conventional digital zoom technology, there is almost no visible image degradation made possible by an advanced image processing algorithm, allowing for expansive shooting capabilities from wide to telephoto. They also come incorporated with SteadyShot image stabilization, Intelligent Auto, and Face Detection, just to name a few.
The DCR-SX22 and the DCR-PJ6 will be available in APAC from end Sep 2012.
