Sony Delivers Online Cinematic Experience with New Blu-Ray Home Theater and Player

Singapore - Sony took its home theater lineup on to the Internet today with the new 3D Blu-ray Home Theatre System (BDV-E380), and Blu-ray player with Wireless LAN Ready (BDP-S380).

With Ethernet connectivity, a Wi-Fi ready Internet browser, and more than 15 Free Internet Video channels, the BDV-E380 puts your TV on the Internet, allowing you to watch a wide range of content for a richer viewing experience. It also features a sleek monolithic design with aluminum hairline finish and touch panel that complements any Sony BRAVIA HDTV, a built-in 3D-capable Bl u-ray player, and 1000W RMS 5.1 channel 3D surround sound for clear highs and wall-shaking bass.

Blu-ray player with Wireless LAN Ready BDP-S380

The BDV-E380 is available now for just $699 at all Sony authorised stores. Customers who purchase any 32-inch BRAVIA TV or larger can add on the BDV-380 for only $499. Free Highspeed HDMI Cable, DCAC Calibration Mic and iPod/iPhone Dock are included.

Sony has also taken high definition to a new level with the BDP-S380 thanks to a sleeker design and BRAVIA Internet Video (Wi-Fi ready), which gives users a wide selection of streaming movies, videos, music, sports and more. In addition to their favorite Blu-ray and DVD films, users can also play videos and music directly off a flash drive connected via the USB port, and the newMedia Remote turns any iPhone/iPad or Android device into an easy-to-use remote control. The BDP-S380 is available now for $269 at all Sony authorised stores.
