Sony to Launch Xperia Tablet S in Singapore on 21 December
Three months after its announcement at IFA 2012, Sony is launching the Xperia Tablet S in Singapore this Friday, 21st December at a recommended retail price of S$749.
The Sony Xperia Tablet S has the unique tapered form factor of the one-year old Tablet S, which looks like the curve of a magazine folded back. The Xperia Tablet S also sports a 9.4-inch display with a resolution of 1,280 x 800 pixels.
Keeping up with the competition, the Xperia Tablet S is powered by NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core 1.4GHz processor and 1GB RAM. However, it will ship with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. Other features include:
- Splash-proof design
- ClearAudio+ mode for the ultimate in audio clarity and presence
- Downloadable ‘Socialife’ application to manage social networking services and news feeds
- Built-in universal remote with time-saving macro programming
- DLNA capabilities to play “throw” content onto compatible TVs
The Xperia Tablet S (16GB, 3G) can be purchased at all Sony stores and authorized outlets from 21st December 2012.
