Sony Introduces New Waterproof and Wire-free Walkman
Update (Mar 28, 2013): The NWZ-W270 Walkman Sports MP3 Player will be available at all Sony stores for S$129 from 5 April 2013 onwards.
On top of Handycams, Cyber-shots, Bravia TVs, and wireless speakers, Sony has also announced the new Walkman Sports MP3 Player NWZ-W270.
A waterproof, all-in-one digital music player, the new Walkman NWZ-W270 is designed for gym-goers and swimmers who seek comfort and convenience while working out. It not only resists sweat and water; it also offers intuitive controls to easily adjust volume to play, pause, or change songs on-the-go without hassle. With its 4GB on-board memory (approximately 1000 songs), users can easily drag and drop DRM-free music files and playlists from iTunes for Mac or PC, Windows Media Player, or Windows Explorer.
Capable of delivering up to eight hours of audio playback on a single full charge, it includes a quick-charge function. If the battery is completely drained, it has the ability to provide music for up to 60 minutes with just three minutes of charge time. Featuring a new tension band for a supportive fit, it comes with small, medium, and large earpieces, so you can find your perfect fit without compromising on comfort.
The NWZ-W270 will be available in blue, pink, white, and black in APAC from March 2013 onwards.
