Sony Introduces New USB Portable Chargers

Sony has released its new USB portable power supply models, the CP-F1L and CP-F2L. With an ultra-slim aluminum bodies housing lightweight lithium-ion polymer batteries, the chargers can charge smartphones, tablets, and portable devices.

At just 9.4mm and 125g light, the CP-F1L holds a battery capacity of 3,500mAh, so smartphone users can recharge their mobile devices 1.5 times with a high output of 1.5A. The 2.1A output CP-F2L charge boasts a higher charge of 7,000mAh in a 12.9mm thin body that weighs 198g. It is capable of charging smartphones up to three times. Also, it houses dual USB output power ports, so you can charge two portable devices simultaneously.

Both models can be charged using an AC adaptor or the USB port on a computer. The supplied AC adaptor allows for concurrent charging of both the charger and your device. A 50cm micro USB cable is also provided for charging while traveling. Both the in-house production Li-ion polymer rechargeable batteries have the ability to retain 80% of their charged capacity even after one year, and can be recharged up to 500 times.

The USB Portable Power Supply CP-F1L and CP-F2L from Sony will be available from November 2012 onwards, and are priced at S$69.90 and S$129.90 respectively.
