Sony Announces New HDR-MV1 Music Video Recorder

Sony HDR-MV1 Music Video Recorder

Sony has just announced a slew of new products at IFA 2013 and one of them is the HDR-MV1 Music Video Recorder. The HDR-MV1 is a video recorder that has been specially designed for recording and sharing live music performances.

Equipped with a 120-degree wide angle Carl Zeiss lens and Sony's Exmor R CMOS sensor, the HDR-MV1 records videos in full 1080p HD at 30fps. It matches this with studio-quality Linear PCM sound, which is uncompressed and superior to CD quality audio. Finally, there's built-in Wi-Fi connectivity to allow users to easily upload and share their recordings. It also has NFC capability for quick sharing with NFC-equipped Android devices.

The Sony HDR-MV1 will be available in Asia Pacific from December.
