Snapchat Now Available for Android Devices

The wait for Snapchat to arrive on Android devices is finally over. The app is now available for download in the Google Play Store, two months after it was launched for iOS. Since its launch, Snapchat gained notoriety for its ability to record and shared video clips that are 10 seconds long, and deleting the clips from the recipient's device after they have been watched.

However, be warned that the app can't prevent receiving parties from taking screenshots or use image capture devices to record the clips that have been configured to be deleted. According to The Next Web, Snapchat has also been slightly upgraded with a new notification system that delivers "a range of different alerts." The upgrade also improves upon the app's camera, as well as ensure that it runs more efficiently and reliably.
