Singtel to waive local mobile data charges for all postpaid customers on May 1

Singtel announced earlier this afternoon that it will be waiving local mobile data charges for all postpaid customers on May 1st, Friday.

This is in response to the mobile data service incident which happened on April 22nd, Wednesday where its subscribers experienced intermittent difficulties accessing 3G and 4G mobile data services.

"We thank our customers for their patience and understanding during the mobile data service incident on Wednesday 22nd April. We will waive local mobile data charges for all our postpaid customers on Friday May 1st 2015. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience caused." - Yuen Kuan Moon, CEO, Consumer Singapore
