SingTel Boosts AMPed to Two Million Tracks

SingTel announced that it has expanded the library of its award-winning mobile music service, AMPed, to more than two million tracks. In a new agreement signed with Warner Music Group, which also represents EMI in Singapore, AMPed customers will now be able to download music by popular artistes such as Bruno Mars, Linkin Park, Katy Perry, Madonna, Derrick Hoh, Jolin Tsai and Jam Hsiao.

AMPed is the only unlimited music download service in Singapore. Customers can enjoy money-can’t-buy experiences such as exclusive showcases, autograph signings and meet-and-greet sessions with the stars.

The service is available at no cost to customers on SingTel 3G Flexi and iFlexi plans. Customers can browse and download songs to their hearts’ content, on their mobile devices and PCs, without incurring data charges. It is also the first service in Singapore to offer 15 Digital Rights Management (DRM)-free music for customers to keep every month and is available on more than 80 mobile handsets on the iPhone, Android, Blackberry, Windows Phone 7 and Symbian platforms.

Customers who sign up for SingTel’s Broadband on Mobile service at $9.90 per month for 200MB of data usage, will also enjoy AMPed at no charge.
