SingTel 1st in Singapore to Offer Direct Carrier Billing for Windows Phone Store Purchases (Update)

Updated on March 7: M1 will be making Windows Phone Store carrier billing available in the coming weeks. As for StarHub, the telco will offer direct carrier billing for Google Play and Windows Phone Store purchases in Q2 2014.

SingTel Windows Phone users can now enjoy the one-stop convenience of charging their Windows Phone Store purchases directly to their monthly postpaid mobile bill.

SingTel is the first mobile operator in Singapore to offer this payment option, which allows customers to make secure purchases of Windows Phone apps and in-app content without the need for a credit card. All transactions are consolidated into a single bill for simplicity and easy management.
