Singapore to Get the Next iPhone on 20 Sept and Samsung Galaxy Note III on 27 Sept?

We just got information from reliable sources that point to a possible launch of the next Apple iPhone(s) (presumable iPhone 5S and/or iPhone 5C) in Singapore on 20 September, and the Samsung Galaxy Note III on 27 September

The information comes from sources that have provided HardwareZone with accurate launch dates in the past, which include the local launches of the iPhone 4S/5, the Samsung Galaxy S III/4 and Galaxy Note II.

Do take note that the information we've obtained is only valid at the point of publication and they are still subjected to changes before the official launch events. The dates also coincide with what has been reported by Japan's Nikkei, TmoNews, ePrice, SamMobile and Techmaniacs.

Techmaniacs published a report on 19 August stating that the new iPhones will be available in stores on 20 September. Nikkei also wrote in a report on 21 August that the new iPhone will be launched in Japan on 20 September. Japanese telcos SoftBank and KDDI are reportedly selling the iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C.

Quoting information from its sources, TmoNews (the unofficial T-Mobile blog) wrote that T-Mobile employees are not allowed to take leave from 20 - 22 September. This suggests that the telco is preparing for a major launch event.

Singapore was among the first wave of nine countries (the U.S, U.K, Canada, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong, France and Germany) to receive shipments of the iPhone 5 last year. The release date (21 September) was just 9 days after its launch event.

SamMobile's sources indicate that Samsung will start shipping the Galaxy Note III from September (Week 36) although "a delay of a week or two may happen" depending on the region. Taiwanese site ePrice claims that the Galaxy Note III will be available in Taiwan on 27 September. Pre-orders for the device will commence on 16 September.

Samsung Mobile Singapore launched the Galaxy Note II in Singapore on 19 October last year, which is close to two months after its launch event at IFA 2012. It now seems that Samsung is planning to roll out its Galaxy Note III to as many markets as possible to compete with the new Apple iPhones.
