Signeo SEA announces launch of Moktak NFC speakers

Inspired by the wooden percussion instruments known as “muyu” (wooden fish) in Chinese and “moktak” in Korean, these portable speakers deliver quality audio with a chic, colorful twist – literally!

The Moktak stereo speaker system features a flexible connecting lead cable which allows the speaker to be adjusted to various angles for incredible versatility in placement. Turn it into a hook or wear it around your neck. With the Moktak, you can bend and twist it to your heart’s desire. When not in use, magnetic closure snaps along the speakers hold them together in what looks like a mini kettlebell for safe and easy transportation.

The Moktak has an operating distance of approximately 10m via Bluetooth (Version 3.0), and provides about 8 hours of playtime on a single charge, with a standby time of about 30 days. With two 40mm speaker drivers and two 34mm bass woofers, and a frequency response of 60Hz to 20 kHz, it should be perfect for those easy listening pop tunes.

The MOKTAK Stereo Speaker is available now at HMV-Marina Square, TANGS Technobay, Mustafa, Lucky Store, and Changi Airport (T3 – Electronics Hub and T2 – iSound) for S$149.
