Sanho Corp Unveils HyperJuice 2 and iUSBport at IFA 2012

Sanho Corp has introduced a new and improved model of the HyperJuice external battery collection in the form of HyperJuice 2 at the IFA 2012.

The only device to power a MacBook and two iPads (or any two USB devices) simultaneously, an OLED display on the HyperJuice 2 provides detailed battery information like percentage battery power remaining, battery temperature, time to full charge and discharge, unlike the previous model which only had a four-level battery indicator.

Besides offering two high-powered 10W (5V, 2.1A max) USB ports instead of one, the HyperJuice 2 comes with a higher-powered 85W output which is capable of handling the new MacBook Pro with Retina Display. Also, a new modular design allows the aluminum casing, lithium-ion battery cells, as well as the logic board to be individually replaced or upgraded. Weighing at 730g, the 100Wh HyperJuice 2 can extend the MacBook battery life up to 26 hours, iPad up to 50 hours (44 hours for the new iPad), or fully recharge the iPhone up to 19 times.

Also announced is the iUSBport (previously known as CloudFTP), a USB sharing device which essentially fills the role of a non-existent USB port on various iOS, Android smartphones and tablets. Connecting to any USB storage device and wirelessly making the content available on iOS, Android, or any Wi-Fi-enabled device, the new platform allows for immediate sharing of three different HD movies to three different devices and 2-way file transfer with up to eight different devices.

The compact device is battery operated, so it can be used on-the-go. A free iOS/Android/web app is provided, and any app that supports FTP/SMB/uPnP/DLNA can also connect to iUSBport to perform 2-way data transfer.

As in the previous CloudFTP, iUSBport features a powered USB port that can connect and drive any USB storage device including USB hard drives, flash drives, USB hubs, card readers and digital cameras. iUSBport then creates its own WiFi hotspot (no Internet required) to share the connected USB data with any iOS, Android or WiFi-enabled device. iUSBport can also join an existing WiFi network to share USB data with devices on the same network. If Internet is available, iUSBport can automatically backup and synchronize the USB data with popular online Cloud storage services like Dropbox.

HyperJuice 2 is available at www.HyperJuice.com for US$299.95, while the iUSBport can be purchased at US$99.95 at www.iUSBport.com.

Sanho is located at iZone Hall 15.1, Booth 142.
