SanDisk Launches Fastest Memory Cards for Mobile Devices & Speedy and Slim High Capacity USB Flash Drives

SanDisk has announced its fastest mobile memory card - the Sandisk Extreme Pro microSDHC UHS-I card.

Ideal for smartphone and tablet users who want to boost their device's storage capacity without compromising on speed, the Extreme Pro microSDHC UHS-I card enables recording of Full HD videos, even in 3D. Offering up to 90MBps write speed, it allows for capturing of multiple photos using burst mode with a UHS-I enabled mobile device. With a read speed of up to 95MBps, it also makes for speedy file transfers. Compatible with any microSDHC-slotted device, the card provides uninterrupted, simultaneous running of multiple applications, downloading files quickly using 4G LTE phones.

The SanDisk Extreme Pro microSDHC UHS-I card is available in 8GB and 16GB capacities priced at S$69 (8GB) and S$119 (16GB) respectively.

Also introduced is a suite of USB flash drives which includes SanDisk's fastest, thinnest and highest-capacity USB products.

SanDisk Extreme USB Flash Drive

Capable of transferring, storing, and sharing large files with up to 10 times faster speeds of up to 190MBps, the USB 3.0-enabled SanDisk Extreme USB flash drive can transfer smaller files almost instantaneously and larger files such as a 3GB file in 20 seconds or a 40GB file in four minutes. Backed by a lifetime limited warranty, it is available in 16GB to 64GB capacities priced at S$44.50 (16GB) to S$139.50 (64GB).

Cruzer Glide USB Flash Drive

Currently SanDisk's highest capacity USB drive, the 128GB Cruzer Glide USB is an ideal companion for people utilizing ultra-thin notebooks that are limited to only 128GB of storage. Backed by a 5-year limited warranty, it is available in 4GB to 64GB capacities priced at S$7.90 (4GB) to S$80.90 (64GB). The 128GB capacity will be available in Q3 2012 at S$150.90.

Cruzer Facet USB Flash Drive

In a stainless-steel casing designed with a variety of rich vibrant colors and a faceted texture, the Cruzer Facet drive is a durable drive which oozes functionality and style. It is available in 4GB to 32GB capacities priced at S$7.90 (4GB) to S$40.50 (32GB).
