Aside from the Galaxy Note 8, Samsung is expected to unveil its third fitness tracker, the Gear Fit2 Pro on 23rd August.

Based on a training deck shared with VentureBeat, the Tizen-powered Gear Fit2 Pro will come with upgraded fitness features. For example, the upcoming fitness tracker will be rated 5 ATM water resistance which means that it can be fully submerged and used for swimming workouts. In comparison, the Gear Fit2 is only rated IP68 and resistant to submersion up to a maximum of 1.5m for up to 30 minutes.

The Gear Fit2 Pro will also support offline Spotify playback, works with the Speedo On app, and comes bundled with a one-year subscription to Under Armor's premium tier of digital services. While the Gear Fit2 has a snap clasp design, the Gear Fit2 Pro will feature a watch-style clasp that is more secure on the wrist during vigorous exercises. It will be compatible with iOS and Android smartphones.
