Samsung will not announce the Galaxy S8 at MWC 2017

In case you missed it, Samsung has earlier today announced the findings of its Note 7 investigation and the measures that it’ll take to ensure such incidents won’t happen again.

The company has also confirmed that it will not be announcing its next flagship, the Galaxy S8, at Mobile World Congress in end February. This is to ensure the quality and safety of the phone.

While this news may disappoint some people, especially ex-Note 7 users, there’s hope that the delay won’t be too long. According to rumors, the S8 would be announced in end March. If a month’s delay gets us a safer phone, I’m all for it.
