Samsung to start selling refurbished Note7 in Korea by end June

One month after confirming that it would be selling refurbished Galaxy Note7 units, Korean publication ETNews reports that the refurbished models will hit retail shelves in South Korea by the end of June.

Estimated to cost about US$620 (~S$866), the refurbished Galaxy Note7 model will come with a smaller 3,000mAh battery. In comparison, the original Galaxy Note7 launched with a retail price of S$1,168 and has a battery capacity of 3,500mAh.

There is no word on the availability of the refurbished Galaxy Note7 models in other markets, but Samsung previously said that it would consult regulatory authorities and telcos before selling them.
