If you’ve been waiting for a Samsung SmartCam IP camera better than the entry-level SNH-E6411BN we often saw at local tech shows, know that the new SNH-V6410PN is now available in Singapore.
With support for 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and full HD streaming, the SNH-V6410PN is first and foremost a pan (350°) and tilt (155°) IP camera for wide area monitoring. It has an auto tracking feature that tracks a moving person or object and offers backlight correction so that you can see a backlit object more clearly. Night vision and 2-way talk are also supported.
The SNH-V6410PN can be configured to monitor a specific area, and send you notifications via the Samsung SmartCam app or email when movements are detected. The app even provides an option to activate warning sounds to deter any unusual activity before it happens. Footage can be saved to a microSD card (up to 128GB).
The Samsung SmartCam SNH-V6410PN is distributed exclusively in Singapore by Convergent Systems, and is available in all major stores for S$269. It’s backed with a 2-year local warranty.
