Samsung rumored to roll out phone upgrade program for the Galaxy S7
Following in the footsteps of Apple, Samsung is said to be starting a new upgrade program initiative for the Galaxy S7 in March.
According to Electronic Times, anonymous sources claim that Samsung is planning to launch an annual phone upgrade program similar to the Apple's iPhone Upgrade Program. Starting with the Galaxy S7, consumers can make monthly installment payments and upgrade their device every year.
Samsung's program reportedly will start in its home country in March before expanding to other countries. At the moment, the iPhone Upgrade Program is only available to qualified customers from the Apple Store in the U.S.
