Samsung Robbed in Brazil

According to The Guardian, a heist took place at a Samsung factory near Sao Paulo, Brazil on Sunday, and 20 ‘bandits’ took off with seven trucks that carried 40,000 Samsung products, which include smartphones, tablets, and notebooks. The total value of the stolen goods is pegged at US$6.3 million (or US$36 million according to this Reuters report), but Samsung is still trying to find out exactly how much money it has lost.

The whole affair is worthy of a Hollywood script; we won’t spoil it for you, but in a nutshell, there were weapons and hostages involved. Expectedly, investigations are underway, and security footage is now being analyzed. The good news is that none of the employees were hurt.

40,000 devices. That's crazy.
