Samsung reportedly sold over 630,000 units of the Galaxy Note Edge worldwide

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge 4G+ sports a 5.6-inch Quad-HD AMOLED display with a curved edge on the right side.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge, also known as Galaxy Note Edge 4G+ in Singapore, may be a "limited edition concept device", but its sales numbers prove that there are people who are willing to try unconventional designs.

According to South Korean publication DT, Samsung managed to sell over 630,000 units of the Galaxy Note Edge worldwide. Considering its limited availability in select markets and premium price tag, this milestone is still considered rather decent. In comparison, more than 4.5 million units of the Galaxy Note 4 were snapped up within a month.

Samsung is said to be releasing a curved Galaxy S6 alongside the normal model at its Galaxy Unpacked 2015 event on on March 1st in Barcelona. Having doubts about the usefulness of a curved display? Well, do check out our review of the Galaxy Note Edge 4G+ and see its functionality.

Meanwhile, Samsung's also giving you a chance to win the Galaxy Note Edge 4G+ simply by customizing the curved edge screen. Participation is really easy, so don't miss your chance! The contest ends on 10th February.
