The new Samsung ATIV Tab 3 made its debut today along with its sibling the ATIV Q. Built solely as a tablet device, the new ATIV Tab 3 comes in a consistent design that resembles Samsung's familiar Galaxy family of devices.
Based on a dual-core Intel Atom Z2760 processor at 1.8GHz and weighing only 550g, the new ATIV Tab 3 measures only 8.2mm thin, making it the world's slimmest Windows 8 tablet. Similar to the ATIV Q, the ATIV Tab 3 will also come with the S Pen which will work with an updated S Note 2.0 software. The S Pen also promises compatibility and improved productivity with the MS Office suite.
Besides offering full Windows compatibility, the ATIV Tab 3 will also come with Samsung's SideSync feature which lets you use the tablet together with Android-based Samsung smartphones. You can read more about SideSync in our earlier coverage of the ATIV Q.
As an added bonus, the new ATIV Tab 3 will come preloaded with Microsoft Office 2013 Home and Student edition.
