The Samsung Enterprise Experience Centre, spanning approximately 2,000 square feet, is a one-stop destination to showcase Samsung’s capabilities and approach to enterprise solutions for customers. Some of the solutions showcased include tablets, monitors, PCs and commercial displays for the hospitality, travel, education and retail industries.
“As a leader in technology innovation, Samsung is leveraging our success in the consumer space to transform a new business experience for the enterprise. Our enterprise capabilities now include secure mobility, print, cloud and display solutions for Enterprises and SMBs, and we are looking to expand these capabilities by working with our industry partners to deliver the best possible solution to our customers,” said Harry Lee, Managing Director, Samsung Asia Pte Ltd.
The Digital Convergence & Mobility Innovation Centre will enable students to research into collaborative learning and conceptualise a learning space where digital technologies could be integrated to enhance effectiveness of teaching and learning. Students will also develop and explore different innovative ways to enhance retail solutions to improve customers’ experience and business outcomes. They will also have the opportunity to develop real-life application on smart devices, including Smart TVs and tablets, through trainings, workshops, seminars and industry attachments at Samsung.
“Nanyang Polytechnic is excited to collaborate with Samsung in setting up the Digital Convergence & Mobility Innovation Centre which will enrich our students’ learning experience. Through this partnership, our students will gain access to the latest technology and solutions used by industry. The knowledge and skills gained through this exposure will certainly add value and enhance their career-readiness,” said Chan Lee Mun, Principal & CEO, NYP.
