Samsung Launches Galaxy S in Southeast Asia and Oceania

SINGAPORE – May 26, 2010 – Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a leading mobile phone provider, today reinforced its commitment to smartphones with the regional launch of its flagship Galaxy S i9000 at the Suntec Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Centre. The Android-based Galaxy S, designed to make users’ lives more convenient, exciting and integrated, will be available in this region starting with Singapore in June.

 

In front of hundreds of media and partners, CEO of Samsung Southeast Asia & Oceania Mr. Gregory Lee shared how Samsung’s Galaxy S will redefine the way people think about smartphones and deliver on Samsung’s commitment to fuel mass adoption in this category.
