Samsung to Launch Several "Galaxy Tab 3" Devices at MWC 2013?

The first two generations of Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 devices.

MWC 2013 is shaping up to be a tablet-centric event for Samsung as more rumors indicate that the Korean company is launching several tablet devices.

According to SamMobile, its Korean source claims that Samsung will launch a new generation of tablets under the brand name, Galaxy Tab 3. The Galaxy Tab 3 devices will include a 7-inch and 10-inch model, both of which will have Wi-Fi and cellular models. Their model numbers are GT-P3200, GT-P3210, GT-P5200 and GT-P5210. The tablets are expected to be available from the first half of the year.

In addition, Samsung is said to be working on a high-end tablet under the codename ROMA. The Korean source is unable to provide more information on the device, but points out that the tablet will be equipped with a 5-megapixel camera, and comes in 16GB and 32GB storage capacity. It will also be available in the first half of 2013.

Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Note 10.1 and Galaxy Tab 2 (10.1) at MWC 2012. It seems logical that the Korean company will use MWC 2013 as a platform to launch its new tablets while reserving special launch dates and events for its highly successful Galaxy smartphones.
