Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablets listed on IDA's website, imminent launch in Singapore?
Samsung may be streamlining its smartphone portfolio this year, but it doesn't seem to be doing the same for its tablet line up as three new Galaxy Tab series showed up on IDA's Equipment Search List.
Based on the listing, the three tablets are the Galaxy Tab A devices which were announced last month. All three Galaxy Tab A devices sport 4:3 aspect ratio for their 9.7-inch displays. The display resolution is rather mediocre at 1,024 x 768 pixels.
According to SamMobile, the three tablets are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 quad-core 1.2GHz processors and 1.5GB RAM. They are also equipped with a 5-megapixel rear autofocus camera, 2-megapixel front-facing camera and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat. One of the models is stated to come with the S Pen.
The Galaxy Tab A devices are priced at €299 (16GB, Wi-Fi only), €369 (16GB, Wi-Fi + LTE), and €349 for the variant with the S Pen (16GB, Wi-Fi only). Based on currency exchange rates at time of publication, the prices are S$602, S$743 and S$703 respectively.
