Samsung Galaxy S III Rumored to Launch in April 2012
You know Mobile World Congress is coming right up when rumors are making its round on the internet. The Samsung Galaxy S III is now the intended target for these rumors, with its source coming straight from Eldar Murtazin, known for various accurate leaks.
In a series of tweets, Murtazin alluded to the Samsung Galaxy S III that will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress 2012, with specs such as a 12-megapixel camera, a HD resolution screen with an unconfirmed but probably larger screen size and a much thinner profile than its predecessor. Of course, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich will be the OS flavor, with some slight modifications, Samsung TouchWiz style.
As far as rumors go, they need to be taken with a pinch of salt. This is more so for the Galaxy S III, since it goes against earlier reports of a dual-core 1.8GHz processor powering the device. Murtazin's tweets indicated that a quad-core processor will be used instead, with a clock speed of 1.5GHz to 1.6GHz. Nonetheless, his series of tweets have also matched up to some of the specs mentioned earlier on.
Another piece of interesting news originating from Murtazin points to the availability of the Galaxy S III, which will supposedly go on sale sometime in April 2012. Now here's hoping that most, if not all of these rumors will be confirmed at MWC 2012.
