Samsung Galaxy Note II to Launch in Singapore on 19 October?

We just got information from reliable sources that point to a possible launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note II in Singapore on 19th October.

The information comes from sources that have provided HardwareZone with accurate launch dates in the past, which include the iPhone 4S, Samsung Galaxy S III and the iPhone 5

Based on the Galaxy S III launch in May, it is possible that telcos may launch the Galaxy Note II in a similar fashion - pre-register of interest, free Galaxy Note II accessory pack and a late evening to midnight event.

Samsung Mobile Singapore is holding an exclusive preview session of the Galaxy Note II on 18th October, Thursday from 7 pm to 8.30 pm. Those who are interested can send in their particulars by 15th October, 2 pm. Selected individuals or winners will be contacted by the company to attend the session.

A Samsung spokesperson also had confirmed that the company would only be launching the 4G version of the Galaxy Note II in Singapore. There are currently no plans to bring in the 3G variant.

A common misconception about the 4G Galaxy Note II is that it has to be used on 4G LTE networks. It's time we put this misconception to rest - the 4G Galaxy Note II allows you to switch back to 2G/3G mode. Even if you have a 3G SIM card, you are still able to use the device.

The Galaxy Note II will be available in two colors: marble white or titanium gray. In the meantime, do check out our video below on some of the new features in the Samsung Galaxy Note II. You can also check out our hands-on article here
