Samsung Galaxy Nexus and Galaxy Tab 7.7 Available from 11 February

Samsung Singapore just announced that the Galaxy Nexus and the Galaxy Tab 7.7 will be available from Saturday, 11 February 2012 at S$948 and S$898 respectively without line contract. Furthermore, the Galaxy Nexus will be available in both black and white. Its current flagship model, the Samsung Galaxy S II will receive a coral pink variant which will be available on 18 February 2012 at S$888 without line contract.

The Samsung Galaxy Nexus is the world's first smartphone that runs on Google Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich out of the box. It is equipped with a TI OMAP 4460 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 1GB RAM and features a generous 4.65-inch HD Super AMOLED display.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 is the world's first tablet to sport the Super AMOLED Plus display, which is first seen on the Galaxy S II. The Galaxy Tab 7.7 is no slouch when it comes to performance as it is powered by a 1.4 GHz dual-core Cortex A9 processor and 1GB RAM. Although it runs on Android 3.2 Honeycomb, it will receive the Android 4.0 update sometime in 2012.

According to SingTel, customers can order the Galaxy Nexus through the SingTel e-shop from Friday afternoon onwards.

Edit: SingTel just provided us with another update - the Galaxy Nexus will be available on its e-shop from Saturday instead of Friday afternoon. Customers who wish to purchase the white Galaxy Nexus can only do so via https://www.singtelshop.com/galaxy_nexus/

Customers can also walk in to SingTel shops from Saturday morning to purchase the Galaxy Nexus. We've also reached out to M1 and StarHub for more details on the availability and pricing of the Galaxy Nexus with the 2-year price plan.
