Learning from its mistake last year, Samsung is preparing its manufacturing plants  lines to produce more flexible displays for the Galaxy S7 edge.

According to Business Korea, industry sources claim that Samsung has started the operation of two manufacturing plants to produce up to 9 million flexible display panels for the Galaxy S7 edge. This is to prevent a similar scenario from happening again when the company was caught off-guard last year by the overwhelming demand for the Galaxy S6 edge.

Business Korea's claims contradict an earlier report by Reuters that Samsung had allocated 1.6 million units of the Galaxy S7 edge for launch. Apparently, Samsung planned to have 5 million units of the Galaxy S7 ready for the launch event next week.
