Samsung to Debut Galaxy Note 3 Lite at MWC 2014?

Samsung is rumored to be introducing a "Lite" model of the Galaxy Note 3.

Samsung is fond of making different variants of its flagship devices and the Galaxy Note 3 is set to receive the same treatment.

According to SamMobile, an insider source claims that Samsung will announce the Galaxy Note 3 Lite at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2014 next February. The device will hit markets in the same month and March.

Given the model number SM-N7505, the Galaxy Note 3 Lite is believed to come in black and white. Listings appear to suggest that Samsung is testing 5.49-inch and 5.7-inch screen sizes for the Galaxy Note 3 Lite. Other alleged specs include an 8-megapixel rear camera and a LCD display.

Having seen 6 variants of the Galaxy S4 (Galaxy S4, Galaxy S4 Google Play Edition, Galaxy S4 Mini, Galaxy S4 Zoom, Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S4 LTE+), we will not be surprised if Samsung really introduce the Galaxy Note 3 Lite.

By offering some of the Galaxy Note 3's features with lower specs and a more affordable price tag, Samsung can reach out to more market segments. The South Korean company recently introduced three new colors to the Galaxy Note 3 family - rose gold white, rose gold black and merlot red.
