Samsung Aware of Battery Issues on Galaxy S4, Offers Free Replacement Battery
Samsung Mobile Singapore confirms that it is aware of the battery issues on the Galaxy S4 and is offering a free replacement battery for affected customers.
Following our report on the battery issues of the Galaxy S4, Samsung Mobile Singapore has confirmed that the company is aware of this issue.
According to Samsung, the battery issues affected a limited number of users. It advises all affected customers to visit the nearest Samsung Electronics service centre, where they will receive a replacement battery free of charge.
Users in Germany are also reporting similar issues with their batteries and they too are advised to send their devices to the nearest service centre for battery replacement. It's troubling to know such battery issues are emerging less than seven months after the launch of the Galaxy S4.
At time of publication, Samsung has no information on the cause of these battery issues.
