Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2015 is shaping up to be an epic one as Samsung is reportedly launching its Galaxy S6 flagship smartphone on March 2.

According to Korean news The Chosunilbo, a Samsung executive claimed that the company has developed several prototypes of the Galaxy S6. No decision is made at the moment as Samsung is still considering some details of the phone such as whether to adopt the same curved or edged display as the Galaxy Note Edge 4G+.

Two alleged photos of the Galaxy S6 were leaked last year, which revealed a slightly larger display and a metallic chassis. The design looks to be similar as the current Galaxy S5. Leaked benchmarks also suggest that the Galaxy S6 will sport a 5.5-inch Quad-HD display and a 64-bit octa-core processor.

If the report is true, there will be a two-corned fight at MWC 2015 as HTC is expected to launch its One (M9) Hima flagship smartphone on March 1. LG is said to be sitting out this fight as it wants to spend more time perfecting the G4.
