Mainstream PC gamers may be in for some good news as the alleged specifications of the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics card have been leaked online. The information has been posted on Chinese website BenchLife, and the portal states the NVIDIA GTX 1050 card sports an unfettered GP107 GPU, built entirely on the 16nm FinFET manufacturing process.

The GPU will feature 768 CUDA cores (48 TMUs, 32 ROPs). It will operate with a base clock speed of 1316MHz, with a boost clock speed of 1380MHz. In terms of video memory, the GTX 1050 will feature up to 4GB GDDR5, which has been rated to operate at 7GHz over a 128-bit memory bus. The card has a 75W TDP, just like its predecessor, the NVIDIA GTX 950. The mainstream NVIDIA GTX 1050 will be inadvertently compared with the AMD Radeon 470, and the NVIDIA card is expected to hit the retail market by October this year. It should be priced at around US$149, offering mainstream gamers a full-fledged Pascal-based GPU, without taxing their wallets.
