Roundup of New R9 270 Graphics Cards

The AMD Radeon R9 270 graphics card was launched this week, making it the latest addition to the R9 series that was announced in late September this year. Check out the wares from various add-in card partners!

First on the list are a pair of cards from ASUS; the Radeon R9 270 DirectCU II 2GB GDDR5 (R9270-DC2-2GD5) and the R9 270 DirectCU II OC 2GB GDDR5 (R9270-DC2OC-2GD5). The two cards are identical in features, and the DirectCU II cooling system technology is used on both cards. The R9270-DC2-2GD5 features the R9 270 graphics core operating at a base clock speed of 900MHz; while the R9270-DC2OC-2GD5 has one that is overclocked to 950MHz.

Club 3D has given the R9 270 GPU the royal treatment in the form of its Radeon R9 270 royalQueen (CGAX-R9276) graphics card. Club 3D also sells its own MST (Multi Stream Transport) hub to split a DisplayPort signal into three streams, so that up to three displays can be added to the single DisplayPort output.
