Roccat Set to Reinvent the 3-Button Gaming Mouse with Lua at Computex and E3

Besides their Kone XTD Max Customization Gaming Mouse, Roccat will also be unveiling their Lua Tri-Button Gaming Mouse at the E3 Expo and Computex Taipei on 5 June.

Earlier on, we announced that the Lua would be featuring a fully-adjustable 2000dpi Pro Optic sensor in an ambidextrous V-shape body. Roccat has since released more information about this mouse they describe as "The Classic 3-Button Mouse: Re-Mastered".

The scroll wheel delivers a solid tactile feedback.

We now know that the mouse comes with seven DPI settings (250, 500, 1000, 1250, 1500, 1750, and 2000) and a dedicated DPI switching button so gamers can conveniently adjust speeds while gaming. They can also program the button to switch only between the DPI settings they use the most, so precious time will not be wasted during gameplay. The ultra-precise 2D scroll wheel will benefit FPS gamers the most, as every incremental step "locks" to combat over-scrolling, so the wrong weapon will not be selected unintentionally.

Aesthetics wise, in addition to its ambidextrous V-shaped design, the Lua features No Sweat side grips with a soft touch surface, allowing gamers maximum comfort during extended grueling gaming training sessions.  With an exterior built to withstand prolonged hours of intensive usage, it features Omron switches and cutting-edge encoder, and PTFE feet which delivers low-friction gliding. Also, there's a large Roccat logo illuminated in arctic blue with a "breathing" effect, so gamers are informed that it is ready for the next command just by glancing at it.

The Roccat Driver software is available so you can personalize the mouse buttons. Priced at EU$29.99, the Roccat Lua Tri-Button Gaming Mouse will hit shelves worldwide from July/August 2012.
