Slightly over a month before BlackBerry 10's scheduled launch on January 30th next year, RIM has already started teasing one of the two upcoming smartphones on its official website. As you can see from above, there's a picture of a partially obscured device with the BlackBerry's trademark icon. It is most likely to be the BlackBerry London touchscreen-only smartphone, which has already been leaked. Of course, that wouldn't be the only gadget making its appearance on the 30th; the device will be launched alongside a QWERTY BlackBerry 10 N-series smartphone.
With the gold SDK set for release today after the announcement of an upcoming Dev Alpha C device, it looks like RIM will be moving with full speed ahead towards its new platform. Mobile phones aside, existing and new PlayBooks will also be slated for BB10 OS updates, but that will not happen until after the launch of the new BlackBerry 10 smartphones. There will not be any changes in support for older BB 7 OS devices as RIM plans to run the two operating systems concurrently.
