Redeem a Free Canon Printer With Windows 8 Pro Upgrade

Windows 8 is due for launch on 26th October. As reported previously, the Windows 8 Pro upgrade DVD will set you back S$89 (US$69.99). Alternatively, you can download an upgrade at S$49.99 (usual price: S$289) via the Windows 8 Upgrade Assistant at Windows.com.

More recently, we understand from Microsoft that customers are entitled to redeem a free Canon Pixma MP237 multifunction printer worth S$79 if they purchase the packaged DVD upgrade version of Windows 8 Pro. This offer is valid from 26th October 2012 till 31st January 2013. All redemptions must be made at the Service Hub, located at 109 North Bridge Road #06-03/04, Funan DigitalLife Mall, before 7th January 2013. Microsoft is also enforcing a limit of 3 redemptions per customer.
