Update: The Level 10 M gaming mouse series has been launched on 27 August; they are currently available in the US for US$99 each. Available in four colors: Diamond Black, Iron White, Military Green and Blazing Red, the whole series was first unveiled at Computex 2012 in June. The press release is available here.

Seeing red? Thermaltake and BMW DesignUSA revealed their red Level 10 M gaming mouse during their press conference at Computex 2012. This brought the total number of color variations of the gaming mouse to four!

The body of the Level 10 M mouse was supposed to feet cool to touch as it is made from aluminium. Furthermore, with its sparse middle section and vents on its body for passive ventilation, the Level 10 M mouse is designed to "cool" the gamer's palm. From our brief hands-on, the red finishing felt lacquered and we wonder if its application will actually impede the cooling effects of the mouse. Perhaps the final product will feature a more refined paint job?
