Rear case of Apple iPhone 6S Plus leaked, reveals a stronger chassis
While we've seen the leaked rear casing of the Apple iPhone 6S, the iPhone 6S Plus remained elusive until today after FutureSupplier managed to obtain one.
According to FutureSupplier, the most noticeable difference between the current iPhone 6 Plus and the upcoming iPhone 6S Plus is the position of the two screw holes for holding the loud speaker module. As seen in the image above, the screws are located slightly higher which could be a hint that the upcoming iPhone will sport a new loud speaker module.
FutureSupplier's source also claims that Apple will retain the same gold tone on the iPhone 6S Plus even though a different material is said to be used to make the rear casing. Apparently, the iPhone 6S Plus will not feel as smooth and is stronger.
This observation coincides with reports from the Chinese media that Apple will be using the same 7000 Series aluminum of the Apple Watch Sports on the new iPhones to prevent a repeat of "bendgate" saga.
