Razer has collaborated with top e-Sports athletes from professional gaming teams like Empire, Frenetic Array, Mouseports, and Quantic, just to name a few, to distinguish the optimal shape, weight, and balance an ambidextrous mouse needs. The symmetrical shape with narrow footprint and arched back of the Taipan, as well as its optimal grip profile, has been tweaked to suit a wide variety of players.

Powered by Razer’s new 8200 dpi 4G Dual Sensor System, the Razer Taipan combines laser and optical sensors that are not only responsive and precise, but also allow Z-axis tracking and liftoff cutoff customization to ensure that aim is accurate. Driven by Razer's proprietary software, Synapse 2.0, a cloud-based storage software for gaming peripherals, users' custom profiles and settings are automatically synced.

The Razer Taipan is priced at US$79.99 and will hit Razerzone.com and stores in July 2012.
