Razer has a power bank to boost the battery life of your laptop
There are plenty of power banks for phones, but you’ll need a good-sized one to charge your laptop. It’s a good thing then that Razer’s new Power Bank accessory is a 12,800mAh battery pack designed primarily for laptops, and can extend the life of the Razer Blade Stealth to up to 15 hours.
It features a USB-C connector for use with Razer’s own laptops, but it will work with pretty much any notebook that uses the same connector. This means you could even use it with a MacBook, if you don’t mind the stylistic incongruity of it all.
After all, this is an ebony aluminum brick with Razer’s triple-headed snake logo emblazoned on it.
And even though it was intended for use with laptops, the Razer Power Bank has two 2A USB Type-A ports for charging phones and supports Quick Charge 3.0, so you can charge up to three devices simultaneously.
It retails for US$149.99 and is slated to be available in March (we’ll update with the local price when we have it). That’s quite a stiff price for its capacity – in comparison, the 20,000mAh mophie powerstation XXL retails for S$174 here, although it does lack dedicated USB-C ports.
