Raidon Bringing Storage Solutions for Security, Stability and Capacity to Computex 2011

At Computex Taipei Raidon will be displaying an all new series of storage products such as the RAID, JBOD, Hybrid, NAS and iSCSI, in addition, the latest development of a three bay internal module for SATA RAID 5 / SAS JBOD solutions called the InTANK iR2630 & iS2630. The new generation of 8 bay SAS 6G storage solution, the GearTANK GR2880 & GR4880 will also be presented.

The latest development of internal module, iR2630 supports three 3.5-inch SATA HDD with RAID 0 and 5 functions, offering large capacity and dependable security in only the stacked size of two 5.25-inch CD-ROM. It also comes with RAIDON standard feature such as a hot-swappable design for the convenience of HDD installation, management and maintenance during operation. By sharing the same form factor, the model iS2630 provides three 3.5-inch SAS / SATA HDD housing with JBOD function and offers the options of adopting SAS or SATA hard drive as well. The iS2630 is also a flexible storage solution to be easily upgraded to RAID storage solution when collocates a RAID card for desired applications.

GR2880 supports eight 2.5-inch SATA HDDs up to 15mm height, and GR4880 supports 8 of 3.5-inch SATA HDDs up to 26mm height giving massive storage capacity. And both models offer SAS storage solutions and embedded dual SAS 6G host interface for fast data throughput. It also provides the highest RAID level protection up to RAID 6 to data servers and workstations for a secured operating environment. In addition, GR2880 and GR4880 further provide the snapshot function which commonly offered for high standard and large-scaled storage devices. This function will backup stored data in records from configured schedule to prevent data encountering inevitable problems from restoring primitive correct data files of saved records.
