Now that we know when the Xiaomi Mi Band will go on sale in Singapore, many of you must be wondering when would the 16,000mAh Mi Power Bank that was first released in China last month arrive here too?

While we’ve yet to receive official word from Mi Singapore, know that the 16,000mAh Mi Power Bank is going on sale on Mi Malaysia’s website very soon, though it’s only available as part of a bundle, instead of a standalone sale. Nevertheless, this led us to believe that it shouldn’t be too long before we see the power bank pops up on Mi Singapore’s website.

To recap, the 16,000mAh Mi Power Bank uses Li-ion battery cells from LG or Panasonic, chipsets from Texas Instruments, and is the first power bank from Xiaomi to sport two USB charging ports, with a maximum output of 3.6A (over 5.1V). In China, it has a price tag of 129 Yuan (about S$27), and in Malaysia, RM79 (about S$30).

When the 16,000mAh eventually arrives in Singapore, the next question will then become when would the super-slim 5,000mAh Mi Power Bank follow suit?
