More details regarding the third Prada-branded LG phone has been revealed. Named as the Prada Phone by LG 3.0, the device will be available for pre-order from January 2012.
In line with the Prada name, the device will sport a full glossy touchscreen to the front and Prada’s signature Saffiano pattern to the back, all finished in classic black. The Prada phone measures in with a thin profile of 8.5mm, with minimal hardkeys to maintain its sleek and simple finish.
While the device takes on a more design-focused approach, it will be armed to the teeth in the hardware aspect. This includes a dual-core 1GHz processor, an 8-megapixel camera and a 4.3-inch display with a brightness level of 800-nit through its Nova High Brightness Display.
Loaded with Google Android 2.3, the user interface gets a slight facelift in the form of a black, grey and white menu and icons. According to LG, an Android 4.0 update will be available, though no timeframe was given.
Pricing for the Prada Phone by LG 3.0 hasn’t been announced, though customers who pre-order the phone from January 2012 will receive a free Prada-branded accessory.
