Post-purchase Options Available for HP TouchPad Owners in Singapore
With HP's announcement of its discontinuation of webOS operations related to its hardware, HP Singapore has taken a few measures to please disgruntled customers. As seen from HP Singapore's official Facebook page, there are a few post-purchase options for customers who have purchased the product at the HP Singapore Online Store or HP authorized retailers in Singapore on or before the 22nd of August.
HP Singapore - If you purchased your HP TouchPad through the HP Singapore Online Store or HP Authorized Retailers in Singapore on or before 22 August 2011, the following options will be available to you:
1) If you would like to return your HP TouchPad and accessories, you will receive a full refund on the amount you paid, as indicated on your invoice.
2) If you would like to keep your HP TouchPad and accessories, HP will refund the price difference between the new price and your purchase price, as indicated on your invoice.
You will be given a choice of receiving your refund via funds transfer or cheque payment.
For all post-purchase options, please have on hand (1) your original invoice as proof of purchase, (2) serial number of your HP TouchPad, as well as (3) the physical unit of your HP TouchPad and all accessories (adapter and USB Cable) if you have received it.

However, all's not lost yet with HP's recent and unfortunate revelation - as pointed out in our blog entry, there are still valid reasons to buy the HP TouchPad.
