Sony's efforts to revive the PlayStation Network have been plagued with unforeseen troubles. Recently, Sony advised users to change their online gaming passwords after experiencing a major security breach last month. And as tipped off by a video game blog, Sony soon found out anyone can effect that change with only the user's email address and date of birth.
The Telegraph - The Japanese giant had been asking tens of millions of users worldwide to change their online gaming passwords after its systems were breached by hackers last month.
Sony has since shutdown the password reset process as their engineers scramble to patch its vulnerabilities. More on this story here.
