Plantronics releases Backbeat Pro+ headphones in Singapore

Plantronics Backbeat PRO+

If you’re a fan of the wireless Plantronics Backbeat PRO with active noise canceling, you’ll be happy to know that the makers are bringing its refresh to our shores. The Plantronics Backbeat PRO+ headphones come with a new feature – a Bluetooth adapter in the form of a USB dongle, for wireless connection to laptops and desktops, be it Windows or Mac OS.

According to Plantronics, the new Backbeat PRO+ headphones still come with the neat features that were important to the preceding Backbeat PRO headphones, but they work with the new USB Bluetooth adapter. For example, the headphones can still accept phone calls even with the USB Bluetooth adapter plugged in, because the headphones are capable of pairing to two audio sources simultaneously. The Backbeat PRO+ is intelligent enough to shift towards the appropriate connection.

Other Backbeat PRO+ features include active noise-canceling for songs, the iconic OpenMic technology that allows a user to hear their surroundings at their choosing for better situational awareness, and the ability to automatically pause tracks when a user removes their Backbeat PRO+ headphones. The Bluetooth connectivity has an extended range of 100m, which is much further than the standard 10m (line of sight required).

The Plantronics BackBeat PRO+ is available at S$449, and they recommend that you find the new flagship music headphones via their official retailers here.
