Announced earlier today, the Plantronics Marque M155 is one of the lightest Bluetooth headset we've seen. Weighing 7g, the device allows voice-guided pairing with iOS or Android smartphones, with additional features tied to the M155 through an accompanying app known as MyHeadset.

The app, which is currently available in the Android Market and Apple App Store, does a sound check and familiarizes you with the added functionality of your headset, such as streaming music and many more.

Voice recognition is also supported on the M155, allowing users to answer or ignore calls completely hands-free. As mentioned, music streaming is also included, aided by the stereo Bluetooth A2DP standard. This isn't just limited to music streaming, with GPS navigation and emails also dictated to you through the headset.

"Smartphone users want to harness the power of their phones to complement and simplify their busy lives," said Elizabeth Hamren, Plantronics' vice president of marketing. "The Marque lets them take advantage of the full range of their phone's capabilities, even while talking or listening to music or a podcast, all in a great looking, super lightweight device."

The Marque M155 will be available for S$119 in either Jet Black or Arctic White at various retail outlets from mid December 2011 onwards.
