Plantronics has announced the BackBeat Go 2 Bluetooth headset, following last year's unveiling of the BackBeat Go. The new headset sees enhanced overall power management, with extended listen and talk times, along with the introduction of DeepSleep hibernation mode to preserve battery life.

Connecting to smartphones, tablets, and music players with Bluetooth, the BackBeat Go 2 allows users to easily switch between listening to music, watching videos, and taking phone calls. The new headset features high quality audio with rich bass, crisp highs, and natural mid tones, providing premium acoustics in a compact, lightweight design.
Overall power management has also been enhanced, with extended listen and talk times, along with the introduction of DeepSleep hibernation mode, to preserve battery life. It also offers the option of a durable, compact charging and storage case that increases listening and talking time by two full charges (which is approximately 10 hours).
The BackBeat Go 2 earbuds is priced at S$159, while the BackBeat Go 2 earbuds with charging & storage case is available at S$199.
